Low-impact Aircraft Branding

Project Description

Commercial airliners carry thousands of pounds of additional weight in the paint that is used to brand company logos onto the aircraft. Is it possible to a develop selective anodizing process that will significantly reduce the waste weight caused by branding the aircraft? Expertise: materials engineering, chemistry, aerospace engineering
